From 3D Animation
to Artificial intelligence

Maya ES is a German digital fashion designer and a 3D / AI filmmaker. Born into an artist family and trained in fashion and fine art, she found her first true medium in 2019, when she began working with 3D animation. It was then that she recognized the game-changing power of 3D software, becoming one of the first pioneers of digital fashion design.
Her flair for AI storytelling took shape in her work for French couturier Jean-Claude Jitrois, whose iconic dress she recreated in CG – designing her own accessories and helmet, and presenting it on Cassie, her own creation and Germany's first CG supermodel, inside a fully CG futuristic world created by her.
The result was a short 3D film, Being a Man: In the far future, a robot – an AI-powered creature – sees Cassie in the Jitrois dress at an exhibition and transforms into a man. Every element beyond the dress itself – the story, virtual world, styling, and film direction – was her own creation. Jitrois published the film, and the collaboration was featured in the Parisian fashion magazine FAUST.
She went on to present her own fashion designs at digital fashion weeks in New York, Paris, and London, and at the Fashion Film Festival Milano. It was there that she recognized something bigger taking shape. AI was no longer the stuff of childhood fantasies - the worlds she'd once imagined through Asimov, Clarke, and Bradbury. At once it was real, an even more powerful, game-changing tool, already redefining culture itself. Once again, she chose to move first.
Today, AI is not optional in cinema, fashion, and music - it's foundational. For Maya ES, that means pairing technical mastery with ethical clarity, treating prompt architecture as a craft in its own right. The result: AI-driven virtual stories told through film, music, or fashion - and, ideally, all three woven into one.
